Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. Since the age of 13 the singer is a part of popular flamenco and music. She also explores different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela is a flamenco guitarist who is renowned for her talent, described her voice as one that was sweet and had an old-fashioned sound. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually winning a Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami collaborated on songwriting with numerous producers and artists like Cory Henry and James Blake. The release came in March 2022 following a performance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the only solo performer on the show for the very first time ever on the program. Along with taking home three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
